I look at the setup as it is now and work out where the biggest gaps, risks and frustrations are.
2. Tidy-up
We deal with the obvious messy bits first and make the setup more consistent, sensible and easier to manage.
3. Write it down and keep it under control
The key details are documented properly, and if needed I can stay on to help keep things tidy going forward.
Why this matters
A lot of IT support only deals with whatever is on fire today. That has its place, but it does not fix the fact that many businesses are carrying years of untidy setup underneath.
IT Tidy-Up is about getting rid of that drag: less confusion, less hidden risk, less dependency on one person's memory, and a cleaner setup that is easier to support properly.
