Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365 is brilliant when it is set up properly. I help small businesses get more out of it, tidy up the messy bits, and keep email, files, users and permissions working the way they should.
Contact meWhen Microsoft 365 is there, but not really under control
A lot of small businesses already use Microsoft 365, but not always in a tidy or sensible way.
Email works, mostly. Files are somewhere, Teams gets used a bit, new starters get added, leavers get removed sometimes, permissions build up, and shared mailboxes appear. Nobody is totally sure what is set up properly and what is just limping along.
That is where Microsoft 365 starts becoming more faff than help.
My job is to help get it working properly, tidy up what has drifted, and make it easier to live with day to day.
Services
What Microsoft 365 support covers
Email and mailboxes
Day-to-day help with email, mailbox setup, shared mailboxes, aliases, and the sort of problems that stop people getting on with work.
Users, access and permissions
Getting starters, leavers, access rights and admin roles into a more sensible state, so people have what they need and not a lot more.
Teams and collaboration
Helping with Teams setup, shared working, user issues, and keeping collaboration tools more organised and less confusing.
Files and storage
Shared files, OneDrive, SharePoint-style storage confusion, and the everyday "where is it and who can open it?" sort of problems.
Tidy-up work
Cleaning up the bits that have drifted over time, from old accounts to messy permissions and unclear setup choices.
Ongoing ownership
Keeping Microsoft 365 in a better state over time instead of waiting until it turns into another inherited mess.
What good Microsoft 365 support should do
Reduce confusion
People should know where things live, what tools they are supposed to use, and how to get at what they need.
Make access sensible
Users should have the right access, admin roles should be tighter, and old setup choices should not keep creating new problems.
Make changes easier
New starters, leavers, mailbox changes and routine updates should be handled properly instead of becoming another source of drift.
Give the business more confidence
Microsoft 365 should feel like a platform that supports the business, not something everyone is slightly nervous about touching.
Process
How it works
1. Review what is there now
Look at how Microsoft 365 is currently being used, where the confusion is, and what needs sorting first.
2. Tidy up the obvious mess
Deal with users, permissions, email, shared files and the practical issues that are causing friction.
3. Keep it working properly
If needed, I stay involved so it stays organised, supportable and easier for the business to use properly.
Why businesses use CMH for Microsoft 365
Most small businesses do not need some grand cloud transformation speech. They need Microsoft 365 to work properly, make sense, and stop creating avoidable headaches.
That means getting the practical bits right, keeping things tidy, and having one person who can explain what matters in plain English.
In practice, that means:
- Email and user issues sorted properly
- Permissions and shared access made clearer
- Less confusion around files and working methods
- A tidier Microsoft 365 setup over time
- Plain English, not Microsoft admin gobbledegook
- One named person who knows the setup
